Oakley, one of the preferred choices

Also in the professional cycling world Oakley is widely represented with riders like Mathieu van der Poel, Jonas Vingegaard, and Puck Pieterse in their roster. We can't overlook the iconic Geraint Thomas, who has always stood out from the crowd with his distinctive Oakley Racing Jacket cycling glasses, which have become an integral part of the Welshman's well-known image, making him easily recognizable to fans and commentators. Geraint Thomas is a living proof of how Oakley glasses can become synonymous with a rider's personal style and expression. However, during last summer's Giro d’Italia, he was seen with his new signature glasses from SunGod’s Pace series. Oakley has truly set the standard for stylish cycling glasses, and despite the already extensive range of exciting color combinations, Oakley's website actually allows for nearly endless color customizations of your glasses. Here you can tailor your own cycling glasses to match your preferences. I decided to explore this option and create my own unique creation. The website is user-friendly, and it's a simple process to navigate. With their smart design feature, you can choose your preferred glasses model and customize it with precisely the colors that suit your personal taste. I chose a pair of Oakley Sutro Lite with a Prizm Sapphire lens, which is suitable for sunny and bright conditions. Additionally, I could also experiment with different color combinations on the frame, temples, and logo until I found the perfect look. Likewise, you can add a personal engraving to the lens. This is a fantastic way to add your own unique style to your glasses and make them a true reflection of yourself, and even though the option for a personal engraving was tempting, I refrained from it as I prefer to keep my glasses simple - if you can say that based on my color choices.

A virtual fitting room and fast delivery

Once you've completed the design process on your cycling glasses and are satisfied with the final result, you'll have the opportunity to virtually try on the glasses using the camera on your device. This allows you to see how the glasses look on you before making the final decision. You can rotate the glasses and experiment with different angles, which is a fantastic way to ensure that the color choices, design, and details match your personal style and meet your needs. From the moment I pressed the "order" button, it took no more than five days before I had my glasses in hand. The quick delivery time was a pleasant surprise. Overall, my experience of designing, ordering, and receiving my Oakley cycling glasses was a smooth and fast process, so if you're looking for glasses that are both unique and tailored to you, Oakley's design options are definitely worth exploring. The glasses cost me around 1,800 kr., and although the price may seem a bit high compared to the usual 1,200 kr. that Oakley Sutro Lite glasses often go for, it's important to consider the value for money. With these glasses, you get exactly the colors that perfectly match you or your outfit.
